Operations are full blown here at UDO, we have been so busy of late. We have 15 dams to be constructed between July and August among other activities in our program this year. Yesterday 24th July 2013, we were constructing one of the biggest dam in history(see photos) at Kaiti River with community members and representatives from Prairie Wind Mennonite Church, Canada. The dam will provide water for domestic use and irrigation to more than 6,000 direct beneficiaries.
UDO staff members are working hard to make sure the project is a success.
This year, we have received many International visitors coming to see the great work that we are doing with the community. We pray to God that he continues to guide us and bless our friends who continue to support us in our work. Many thanks for the co-operation that we have received from the community members, without you we cannot achieve good results.
Many thanks and appreciation to Prairie Wind Mennonite Church for funding this worthwhile and memorable project in memory of Ron Peters, May God rest his soul in peace.
